On Sunday, June 25th, the evening prior to Day One of the Slow Flowers Summit, we will hold the annual farm dinner.

Our Farm-to-Table Dinner will be hosted by KIKA Flowers at Mercer Island Funny Farm

Dinner on the Flower Farm

Sunday, June 25, 2023

5:00-7:00 p.m.

Our hosts are Amy and Kenny Green, Slow Flowers members and owners of KIKA Flowers. They grow cut flowers at Mercer Island Funny Farm, an amazing property that's owned and managed by members of their extended family. The Funny Farm is home to more than 20 animals, including horses, chickens, bunnies, and cats. The five-acre property is located on Mercer Island, Washington, just 8 miles and 15 minutes from Bellevue Botanical Garden -- an easy drive or ride-share destination. The Funny Farm is privately-owned and female-run with a vision to build community and maximize connections to nature. The Farm offers private equestrian lessons and is a popular film and photography location, as well as a fabulous space for small events and parties. Our Summit dinner guests will find themselves in a beautiful setting where we'll disconnect in order to reconnect!

The Funny Farm and KIKA Flowers have teamed up to create something very special. Amy Green has been collecting bulbs, storing seedlings, and rescuing rose bushes from her neighbors, planting everything in the spacious flower beds and boxes at the Funny Farm. Through this unique collaboration, KIKA Flowers and the Funny Farm are passionate about getting fresh, organic blooms into the hands of local flower lovers!
